Extraordinary

You’ve probably heard this quote from Mother Teresa: “Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”

Saint Teresa of Calcutta would likely agree that the simple act of listening, being present, and honoring the ordinary space between you and the next person you encounter as holy—that’s the extraordinary love our world needs right now.

The rolling river of justice begins with a raindrop of sacred connection. The waves of mercy and righteousness the world so desperately needs might start as a tiny ripple between two people.

When we enter ordinary conversations with the extraordinary love of God, the world starts to heal.

I really believe this.

It all starts with the space between us.
