Our upcoming events are all about sacred connection. Click on the event in the calendar to learn more. Here are two of our most common gatherings:
BETWEEN Open Chapel is a 30-minute Zoom gathering for sacred pause and human connection. We begin and end with a breath prayer, offer a few gentle words from sacred wisdom, and hold open space for reflection, conversation, or silence. No pressure, no performance — just presence. Come as you are.
BETWEEN Sacred Gatherings are quarterly digital worship experiences open to all.
BETWEEN Quarterly Sacred Gathering: A Global Day of Sanctuary & Practice

This digital event takes place throughout the day across our various digital platforms. There is one LIVE experience during the day that you’re invited to participate in. See the schedule below (all times Mountain Standard Time or -7 GMT).
There is no need to register. Please just hold as much of the day as you can (even if it is just a few minutes here or there) to create your own sanctuary.

Every few months, the BETWEEN community sets aside one gentle, spacious day to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what is sacred in us and between us. This isn’t a church service, a performance, or a meeting — it’s a sanctuary in time, a shared pause for the soul.
Throughout the day, you’ll receive a small series of offerings — a morning video reflection, a sacred text message, a written meditation, and a simple practice prompt — all designed to help you notice the holy threads of connection woven through your real life. Then, in the evening, we’ll gather on Zoom (and livestream) for a quiet, gently guided time of reflection, ritual, and rest. No pressure to speak. No requirement to turn on your camera. Just a calm space to be held in community.
This Global Day of Sanctuary & Practice is a chance to:
Rest your spirit
Re-center your heart
Remember that you’re not alone
Practice sacred human connection in small, meaningful ways
Re-enter your week with clarity, grounding, and hope
Come as you are.
Bring your whole, imperfect, beautiful self.

Colorado Coffee Communion
LOCAL EVENT IN LONE TREE, COLORADO USA
Coffee Communion is a simple gathering inviting you to pause, breathe, and remember the sacredness of the space between us. In a cozy local coffee shop, a small group of people (most of whom won't know each other already... so you'll fit right in) will discuss spirituality (their own) and how it might help us all create more moments of sacred connection in our lives. Facilitated by the Executive Director of BETWEEN, Matt Mattson.
Expect:
a warm welcome and low-pressure environment
a grounding reading or reflection to begin
meaningful (but accessible) spiritual conversation
time to connect with others who are seeking community, wholeness, and hope
the simple communion of warm drinks and shared humanity
a clear ending time (1 hour after we begin)
free parking lots right next to the building and across the street
arrive (5-10 min early is best), buy your own warm drink, and join our group whenever you get there.
This isn’t a church service.
It’s a gathering of people who believe that sacred moments happen anywhere honest conversation and care are shared.
Come as you are — no beliefs required, no expectations placed on you, no requests for donations.
Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to connect.

BETWEEN SACRED GATHERING (Fall 2025)

Theme: 🍂 “The Beauty of Letting Go” inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1–8, Matthew 6:25–34, and the Buddhist Dhammapada 20.277 – "All conditioned things are impermanent—when one sees this with wisdom, one turns away from suffering. This is the path to purity".

This Sacred Gathering is built for questions, not answers. We’ll practice staying present with each other’s wonderings — without fixing, debating, or solving. We'll swim in spiritual uncertainty together.
