BETWEEN Open Chapel
A simple 30-minute Zoom sanctuary to breathe, be human, and feel a little more connected.

What is Open Chapel?
BETWEEN Open Chapel is a simple, live, 30-minute gathering (from 1-12 people) on Zoom, offered most Wednesdays and Fridays, designed to feel like a small chapel you can step into wherever you are. It’s a place of refuge and presence — a room where nothing needs to be fixed, proven, or performed. Open Chapel is hosted by Matt Mattson or another BETWEEN co-creator, and it holds whether it’s one-on-one or a group of 12. The size doesn’t change the spirit. The doors are open either way.
This is not a class, a sermon, or a meeting you have to participate in. It’s a gentle, shared pause — shaped by breath, short readings, silence, and optional sacred conversation. People from many belief backgrounds are welcome, and no one is asked to explain or defend what they believe. You are free to listen quietly, to speak if you feel moved, or simply to rest in the space. Open Chapel exists to remind us that even on a screen, the space between us can still be holy.
