Lamps

I’ve been staring at this tiny little passage this morning…

The lamps are different,

but the Light is the same.

It comes from Beyond.

We have two BETWEEN Open Chapel sessions today (Click to join: 9AM MT & 2:30PM MT), during which we’ll explore this and 3 other bits of ancient wisdom… so I’ll have plenty of time to contemplate. But I thought I’d start my day by considering this with you.

What a magnificent idea!

We are all shining with a light that comes from beyond! We are all set beautifully aflame by a single source of love!

I wonder if you’d enjoy stopping your busy life for a moment, closing your eyes, and imagining that single source of light glowing inside each of us.

Glowing inside me and you. Glowing inside our neighbors.

Glowing inside our family members.

Glowing inside our local school teachers and doctors.

Glowing inside your garbage collectors and your plumbers and the construction workers doing that annoying project at your nearby intersection.

Glowing inside the politician that bothers you.

Glowing inside the hungry and desperate.

Glowing inside the imprisoned and afraid.

Glowing inside all of us.

I’m imagining you lit up by that divine source right now. I’m praying that you feel the warmth of that light and you notice the direction it’s shining for your life. I’m praying you know how bright and beautiful you truly are.
